THE LEGEND OF THE HOLIE ROLLERS
Before there were the Holie Rollers, there was Aiding and Abetting.
Matt and Jimmy entered the cornhole scene with a simple plan: throw bags, drink beer, and cause just enough trouble to keep things interesting.
Jimmy was the obvious wildcard. Charismatic, confident, and apparently incapable of walking across the venue without attracting attention, Jimmy quickly became known for his ability to distract opponents without ever technically breaking the rules. The ladies loved him. The teams hated playing against him. Matt mostly watched the chaos unfold, beer in hand, waiting for his turn at the board.
Matt was the opposite.
Quiet. Focused. Calculated.
He wasn't there to make friends. He wasn't there to work the crowd. He was there to throw bags, drink beer, and win.
And win they did.
Aiding and Abetting put together a hell of a season, consistently playing at a high level and establishing themselves as one of the teams nobody wanted to see in the bracket. Bag after bag, game after game, Matt's steady throwing and Jimmy's unpredictable combination of talent and charm carried them all the way into the playoffs.
Then came the final.
The two were one step away from the top.
But after a hard-fought playoff run, Aiding and Abetting finished third.
Third place was good.
But good wasn't good enough.
They didn't walk away satisfied. They walked away with unfinished business.
And somewhere between the last drink of the season and the first bag of the next one, the decision was made:
Aiding and Abetting was dead.
A new team needed a new name.
Something that represented how they played.
Something that sounded good shouted across a crowded beer garden.
Something with a little more attitude.
That's when the Holie Rollers were born.
The name came from the art of the perfect bag — that beautiful little roll, slide, or push that finds its way toward the hole when it has no business getting there.
Roll the bag. Find the hole.
And at the center of it all is Holie, the team's trash-panda mascot and original Bag Bandit.
The legend says Holie spends his nights lurking around the food trucks, stealing bags, drinking whatever's left unattended, and watching Matt and Jimmy destroy opponents at the boards. He doesn't understand the rules.
He doesn't need to.
He understands one thing:
Put the bag in the hole.
Now Matt and Jimmy are back for another season.
Matt is still quiet. Still drinking. Still throwing bags.
Jimmy is still charming. Still attracting attention. Still finding ways to make opponents lose focus.
And Holie?
Holie has a sack full of stolen bags and a score to settle.
Last season, Aiding and Abetting finished third.
This season, the Holie Rollers aren't playing for third.
They're coming for the whole damn thing.
